Troy Gibson

On May 13, 2023 Troy Lee Gibson, at the age of 55, went to be with our Lord. He passed away at his home in Houston, Texas with his loving wife Aida Gibson by his side. Troy was born in Kentucky to parents Virginia Stasney and Bob Gibson (deceased). He has two younger siblings, Todd Gibson (deceased) and Tonia Dikeman and a half-brother Steven Gibson. Troy has one child: his loving son Derek Gibson.

Troy grew up in Crosby, Texas and moved to Houston, Texas after graduating from Crosby High School in 1986. In late 2022 he was diagnosed with cancer. The battle was tough, but he fought each day and even on the toughest days, he would greet family and friends with his beautiful smile. Troy was a loving husband, father, son, and brother: his family meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, May 19th for a celebration of Troy’s life from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Home located at: 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd in Houston, TX 77075.
