Mary Irene Dodsworth

Mary Irene McKinney Dodsworth passed away at home on March 25, 2023 at the age of 74. 

She was born in Laredo, TX on June 6, 1948 to Elbert Irving McKinney Jr. and Eunice Irene McKinney, where she grew up with her older brother Ben Allen and younger brothers Mickel Paul and Harold Joseph McKinney.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ben and Mickel, and second husband DeAaron (Stephen) Dodsworth.

She is survived by her children Gary Lee Maxwell, Tammy Ilene Fluellen, and youngest brother Harold Joseph McKinney’s families including Mary’s 3 grandchildren, Ashton Lee Maxwell, Abigail Irene Fluellen, and Maxwell Joseph Fluellen.

In honor of Mary’s request, no services will be held, and she will be laid to rest in Zapata, TX in private observance near her mother and father.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society in Mary’s memory.
