Joyce Combs - 1/27/1933 -2/25/2023

Joyce Combs passed peacefully at MD Anderson Hospital. She was born and raised in Verden, Oklahoma where she graduated her senior year as valedictorian.  She then attended Oklahoma State University where she received a degree in business and met the love of her life, Bob. She went on to pursue art at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Jennifer Richardson, husband Kirk and daughter Julie Rogers, husband Jay. Joyce was a true artist and her art has been distributed around the world by publishers and dealers. She loved to teach and shared her talent with students in Houston and Fredericksburg at her art studios. Her students have faithfully stayed in touch with her until her death. She was currently involved in the Rockport Center for the Arts and awarded the honor of a show that was to be later this year. A celebration of life will be held later this year in Rockport, Texas. She will be dearly missed.
