Belinda “Lorie” Aguilar

Belinda “Lorie” Aguilar, 58, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Survivors include her three children, Lorie Beth (Rolando) Delgado, John Uribe, Jr., Jason Uribe; four grandchildren, Rolando, Jr., Janell, Bethany, and Jayson; 94yo mother, Maria Aguilar, seven siblings, and dozens of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her husband of nearly 34 years, Big John Uribe.

Lorie was born in Harlingen, Texas, on January 28, 1964. She moved to Houston as a baby and was raised and lived in the north side of Houston the majority of her life. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking, jamming to Tejano music, and supporting Houston sports teams. She had friends of all ages, many of whom referred to her as a second mother, aunt, or sister--a testament to the love she shared and the impact she had on so many lives.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Details to follow.
