Yu Chin Stokes, 67, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a hard-working woman with a big heart. She loved her family and friends and would take every chance to let them know. Birthdays and special dates were never forgotten – even the family dog, Yumi, wouldn’t miss out on birthday gifts and wishes. Along with her love for her friends and family, Yu loved nature and food. She always enjoyed being outside and feeling the warmth of the sun, the beauty of flowers, the innocence of animals, and the bonding power of food.

She is survived by her two children, Joseph and Caroline. She was preceded in death by her former husband, William Ryan.
