Sue Williams

Sue Milton Simmons Williams passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at The Forum in Houston, Texas. Sue was born on May 13, 1934 in Hall County Texas. Her parents are Robert and Ruby Milton. Sue and her family moved to Houston in 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church Houston where she was very active in the DaySpring Sunday school class. She enjoyed social gatherings, crafting, playing bridge, hosting parties and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her liveliness and generous, caring spirit. She is predeceased in death by her parents, her brother Jack Milton and her son Stephen Kent Simmons. She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Simmons) Erickson and her husband John; sister Beth Moreno; very special nieces Melissa Ware, Holly Landry, Maegan Ware, and nephew Richard (Kay) Milton. She also leaves behind her beloved granddog, Frankie. He brought her so much joy. There will be a graveside gathering for friends and family in Lakeview, TX, ‪at 11:00 on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Houston ‪on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 10:00. Floral arrangements will not be accepted by the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Paws'itive Teams would be appreciated.
