Sandra Sue Robinson

September 19, 1954 — February 9, 2024

Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved Sandra Sue Robinson. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love, and generosity.

Sandra Sue Robinson, 69, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Sandra was born September 19, 1954 in Azle, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Grady and Maudie Marie Barrier. Daughters Sarina Marie Swiney, Amber Rene Swiney.

Sandra is survived by her son Lloyd Jay Chronis, daughter Angela Marie Elliott and her husband Brandon, sister Donna Warren and her husband Ed, granddaughters Elyssa Perez and her husband Jared, Athea Grae Chronis, great granddaughters Rosalie and Liliana Perez. Nieces Rachel Warren, Jennifer Graham.

Sandra was raised in Azle, Texas and obtained her high school diploma from Azle High School in 1973. Later she would find herself moving to Houston, Texas in the early 80’s for work. She would end up working for M.N. Dannenbaum supplying parts for the oil & gas industry for 20+ years before retiring and taking on the roll of watching her granddaughter Athea who gave her so much joy.

Sandra Sue Robinson will be remembered for her big heart and always willing to give the shirt off her back even if it was all she had left. She was always helping people who needed a helping hand from loaning her car, to financial needs to having people stay at her house till they got back on their feet. Sandra didn’t have a lot to give being a single mother to three kids but that didn’t matter to her, helping in any way possible was what she did, and she had heart of gold. Sandra was a tough woman who raised us to be the same way. She also wore the dad hat as well and taught us everything from plumbing, electrical work, repairing vehicles, fishing and much more. She was the jack of all trades and made sure to pass that down. She loved music and if you knew our mother well, she loved having a nice cold beer. We’re thankful to have had all the experiences we did with her and the pleasure of being able to share a cold one with her.
