Randy Mr.

Randy "Papa Bluez" Stuart passed from his earthly bonds peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 16, 2013. Randy loved life and always had a smile on his face for everyone he met and a hug for everyone he knew. He made an impact on his friends and community that will long be cherished and remembered by those who knew him. Born in Paducah, Kentucky on Jan 12, 1956, Randy worked as a truck driver, which prompted a move to Texas in 2003. Randy started his music career in the area a short three years later and became a well known face in the local scene. Randy was best known as "Papa Bluez" by the Houston and Bay area musicians that called him friend and was singled out as a man who would happily give the shirt off his back for someone in need. A devoted Husband and Grandfather, he was quick to brag and share stories and pictures of his family every chance he got. He was a talented and well loved Guitar player and singer and will be greatly missed by all. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Susan Kay Stuart 53, and grand-daughter Kamrynn M. Stark 5 ,both of Channelview, Texas. A daughter Melissa Henry 32 , a daughter Peggy Crawford 29, and a Sister Diane Jones 66 all of Paducah, Kentucky. No funeral plans have been arranged as to honor his wishes, but a memorial and music event will be held in his honor on September 29th at The Neon Moon Saloon 1201 S. 16th St, LaPorte, Texas 77571 starting at 12pm.
