Randolph Durward Bellard

Randolph (Randy) Durward Bellard was born in Beaumont, TX on October 9th, 1947. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on April 24th, 2025. He was 77. He spent his early years in Beaumont, TX. Randy graduated from South Park High School in 1966 where he was active in sports. In 1970 he earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from Lamar State University.

Upon graduation Randy began working with his father, Francis Bellard at Bellards’s Drapery and Carpet. Later, he moved to Houston, TX where he worked in the commercial flooring business. He met and married the love of his life Nancy in 1983. Randy opened his own business, CRB Floorcovering, Inc. He was successful and retired. He saw a segment on CNBC about a company called Garage Tek. With his entrepreneurial mindset he came out of retirement and began a joint venture with Nancy owning a Garage Tek Franchise.

Randy and Nancy enjoyed many years of fun and friendship at Lakewood Yacht Club. This tight knit group of friends called themselves “The Usual Suspects”. Randy became Commodore of Lakewood Yacht Club in 2001 and served in many other aspects of the club.

Randy was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Bellard, his parents Francis Durward Bellard and Eva Lorene Bellard. He is survived by his brothers Tommy Bellard (wife Terry), Dr. Mark Bellard (wife Kim), sister Betty O’Keefe (husband George), daughters Courtney Bollich (husband Bobby), Lari Moazami (husband Masoud), grandchildren Ana and Mia Moazami, Quincy and Zachary Lambert, Willa and Xavier Bollich who will continue to honor Randy’s legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Randy was a man of immense humor and adventure, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones and friends. His passion for sailing, playing in the men’s poker group, his role as a loving husband and grandfather, and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

In lieu of flower, the family suggests donations be made in his honor to Today’s Harbor for Children.
