Paul Worley

Born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 28, 1951, Paul Worley passed peacefully on October 02, 2026. He was preceded in death by parents Sam Jr. and Edna Lucille Worley, sisters Thelma, Joanne, Linda Sue, and brothers David, Samuel, and Simon. He is survived by sisters Sharon Hibbard, Carolyn Lackey, Kay Bynum, his wife Barbara Worley, children Paul Lynn Worley, LaNett Doolittle, Delana Skinner, and Linda Worley. Paul had eight grandchildren including Khayla, Chellsea, Dustin, Amber, Justin, Jacob, Zachary, and Ashten. There are also ten great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paul spent a good part of life working as a master plumber. He loved playing the guitar and would have many jam sessions with anyone who played as well as in the church he attended in Fort Worth. His guitar playing inspired his nephew Jerry and grandson Jacob to learn how to play. Following the guitar, Paul absolutely loved fishing. Anyone who has gone fishing with him knows how he would always find the best spots. Well, they might not all be the best but the stories he would tell made one think so. When asked how he caught fish, he would laugh and say “I just spit on the bait. Works every time”. The guitar has fallen silent and his tall fish tales and quirky jokes will be missed.
