August 30th,1954 - April 15th, 2025
Paul was age 70 from Marshalltown Iowa, to dad Dale E. Lorenzen and mom Marie H Lorenzen.
Paul graduated from Marshalltown Hight School, Studied at Marshalltown community college.
University of Northern Iowa studied theater/speech, and at university of Houston English/Literature.
Paul was a middle school English teacher, and retired after 26 years.
He is survived by Husband Frank Gomez, 1/2 brother Johnny and stepsisters, cousins, and nephews.
Paul loved his mom Marie and dad Dale very much, but when his parents divorced that changed very quickly at a young age it seemed they no longer had time for him.
Paul was then rescued by his grandmother Lilly Lorenzen, and he loved her so. Paul also had some good friends that help him make some good decisions for his future self.
Paul moved to Texas for love, from Minnesota, but that didn't out the became best friends from that point on. New friend from the Houston area talked him to apply for a teaching
position and got the job within 30 minutes. Paul was a middle school English teacher and worked 26 years as a teacher. Paul's hobbies collecting McCoy potter, books, and
Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. Paul and I met February 18th 2012 and at the end of the date he said that my life was going to change, and it for the better. Paul was a very kind man
and would like to say I don't like people, but that was not true and I loved him so. Paul is survived by one 1/2 brother Jonny and several step brother and sisters, cousins and nephews.

Service for Paul D Lorenzen will be Friday May 9th at Resurrection community church the Chapel at 6:00pm
