Papa’s Obituary

Luis Eduardo Molina, adored man to all, ascended, reuniting with The Lord on Thursday August 4th, 2022. Waldo was the second child in a line of 5 born on May 28th, 1950 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He lived a youth full of play with his brothers, music, and exploration. At 16 years of age, Waldo had the great honor of meeting his future wife, Mimi, while playing in a band performing Beatles cover songs. It wasn’t long before they were in love, their romance one for the record books. In 1974, they brought into their world their first born, Alexis, with their 2nd born, Yanisse, closely following in 1976. Waldo and his beautiful family uprooted their life and moved to the United States in 1980, their lives forever changed. Waldo was so many things, a talented self-taught musician, a hilarious storyteller, skilled handyman, exceptional dancer, lover of the water, and the list continues. However, the most profound effect he had on this lifetime was due to his compassion for people, enlightened perspectives, adoration of his family, and abundant faith. He fought an uphill battle of health ferociously, and for 10 years, enduing all those around him with strength. He was preceded in Earthly departure by his mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and grandson. He now watches over his wife Mimi, children Yanisse and Alexis, and their spouses Justin and Gina. In addition, his grandchildren Avery, Kayleigh, Sienna, Emry, and Aubrey, as well as countless family members and loved ones. To know Waldo, was not just to love him but be moved by him and inspired by his effortless grace. So many are left feeling his absence, but celebrating the day we are reunited again.
