Lionell Wayne White age 77 went peacefully to be with his Lord Sunday June 28, 2026. Born in Houston May 8, 1949 to parents Walton Ellis White and Marguerite Ricks White. 

Lionell is survived by his wife of 57 years Nancy Stone White. Daughter Lita White Galloway (Phillip Joia), his grand children Ashton Ruiz Loving (Robby Loving II), Kayla Galloway (Jace Healy), Tyler Galloway and Alanna Galloway and great grand children Robby Loving III, Reid Healy and Colton Healy. Son-in-law Frank Ruiz Jr.  

Mother Mary Montanari (Art) of Crockett; Sister Mary Surrency of Crockett. Brother-in-law Kenneth Strickland. Sister-in-laws Sharon Byars (John), Carmelita Whitaker (Joe) with many nieces and their families. Numerous Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi family. Along with friends Cindy & Roger Lane, Deborah & Mike Wolf, Julie King Thomas and The Foundry family. Also Mr. T his caregiver.

Lionell was preceded in death by daughter Sarah White Ruiz, by his parents Marguerite and Walton, brother Walton White, sisters Joann Strickland and Christine "Chris" White Bristow.

Service: Visitation July 18th 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, funeral service 12:00 pm at The Foundry Church 8350 Jones road, Houston, TX 77064. Kelly Long officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The Foundry Church in loving memory of Lionell Wayne White.
