Lindsay Grace Gorski

May 13, 2000 — January 10, 2024

On January 10, 2024 Lindsay Grace Gorski passed away unexpectedly and joined her beloved mom and other loved ones in the sublime afterlife.

She was the first born to Michael Patrick Gorski and Leah Anne Padgett Gorski on May 13, 2000 in Hershey,Pennsylvania. Two years later she lovingly welcomed her brother who the moment she saw him called him Bubba which she continued throughout her life. They were an instant team and inseparable. Born almost 2 months premature she faced significant challenges in life . But due to her natural strong will, she adapted and overcame them and did her best to thrive. From childhood her bubbly personality made it easy for her to make friends and did everything in her power to make people happy. Her personality was one that can't be put in words.

She attended grade school in Landisville Pennsylvania and in Summerville, South Carolina. Before moving to Atascocita Texas in 2014 for her freshman year of high school graduating in 2018. In high school she was a volleyball team manager and a member of the journalism team.

After high school she decided to fulfill her childhood dream.  At 6 while sitting with her mother Lindsay discovered law via Judge Judy and said I want to be like her. While we just assumed it was childhood ambition and that choice would eventually change when she found a new passion. She made up her decision and it always was her goal. She enrolled at Lonestar with the intention of transferring to her dream school. During that year she went to Greece and Turkey with her philosophy class , touring the cities that she would read about as a child. Learning of the history and mythology in detail. After a year she applied to Penn State and was accepted but soon after her mother was diagnosed with cancer and against our wishes . She decided to enroll locally so she could be at home to help her mom. That was Lindsay, she put herself second when she deserved to put herself first.

Time marched on and Lindsay tried to balance being a student, work part time and helping her mother live day to day. She took care of all of the nursing of her mother until her mother couldn't be helped anymore, And started her journey into the afterlife. After grieving for a very short period she took on the role she thought her mom would want. She took a job working with Congressman Dan Crenshaw's election and reelection campaign  among others where she gained praise for her work ethic and ability to talk to people. Soon after she took a job as a paralegal's assistant and it reignited her passion for the legal system. She realized once again that she wanted to help people in need. Recently she changed firms and from what I was told she was a superstar. Making new friends, impressing her manager with her ability to learn the job. All things pointed to Lindsay making a name for herself.

The best effort isn't always rewarded with the results we aspire to achieve. But Lindsay never looked back. She always just worked on a new plan if a new path had to be forged. Her life was short but her will to succeed was immeasurable and if that was all I knew about her. That would be enough for me to admire and love her . Her heart knew no boundaries. Be it people or animals, Lindsay loved wholeheartedly. I will see you again my little girl , until you are in my arms again. We all love you and always will.

Instead of saying why me , Lindsay said why not me? Why can't I get what I want in life if I work hard for it?

Lindsay joined her Grandfather Paul C Padgett. Her beloved Mother Leah Anne Padgett Gorski. She will be waiting with her giggling laugh for the day she can be reunited with
