Linda High

Linda A Cornelius High quietly passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones in Houston, Tx. She was 72 and was born March 17, 1946 in New Orleans, La to Oliver and Hazel Cornelius (LaSalle) of Baytree and Vacherie, La. She attended Walter L. Cohen, Class of 1964. She served 31 years in the United States Postal Service which she started in New Orleans and retired in San Antonio, Tx. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her son Derek M. Owens and daughter Dina M. Enlow and 3 grandsons Forrest Butler, Jr., Adam Owens, and Julian "Nico" Enlow, her siblings Elmo, Olivia (Val), Brenda (Edward), Marylyn, Stephen, Vanessa, Jacqueline (Charles), and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins all of whom have very fond memories of her. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Theodore W. High IV, her sister Yolander Keys (Cornelius), her father Oliver Cornelius and her mother Hazel Cornelius (LaSalle). Viewing is at 11:00am and the service at 12noon will be at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church Houston Tx. 77064 on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Burial will immediately follow to Houston National Cementary organized by Integrity Funeral Care.
