Leticia “Letty” M. Winters, 67, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Cypress, Texas.

Letty was born on September 15, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas to Mike and Isaura “Sara” Mireles.

Letty was raised in San Antonio where she graduated from South San High School in 1976. She then went onto Barber College and graduated in 1978. Letty loved serving and working with people so much that becoming a licensed barber was the perfect career choice for her.

In 1982, Letty, her husband Otis and young daughter Sunshine moved to Houston, Texas. There Letty established hundreds of loyal hair customer friends who she joyfully served for over 40 years. Letty devoted much of her time and energy to taking care of her customer friend’s haircare needs, which made customers and Letty the Queen of Hair happy and successful.

Letty’s interests and hobbies included putting God first in her life, family, decorating, fashion, gardening, traveling, camping, hiking and posting on social media.

Letty’s beautiful smile and joyful spirit communicated her love of life and people. Letty was a beautiful lady inside and out. And people loved Letty for just being herself.

Letty is survived by her husband Otis Winters; daughter Sunshine W. Masanow and spouse Jeff Masanow and grandson Zane and elder sisters Dianna Suarez and Liza Shrout and spouse Marvin Shrout and Letty’s younger brother Joe Morillos. Shis is also survived by Aunt Agnes, several nephews, nieces and many cousins.
