In Loving Memory of Kathryn K. Reichardt
Kathryn K. Reichardt, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
She was born on October 8, 1936, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to the Houston Heights area in 1947 where she attended school as an honor student. Kathryn was a dedicated and hard worker, holding various positions throughout her life at Neiman Marcus, Treemont, Earthman, and Better Homes & Gardens. She continued working until she was 84, demonstrating strength, resilience, and determination in all she did.
Kathryn loved exploring the countryside and taking road trips with her longtime friend and partner, David. Some of her favorite adventures included visiting bluebonnet fields in the spring, lakes in the Texas Hill Country and Piney Woods of East Texas, and the beautiful beaches along the Texas coastline. She was a beloved and proud mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and never forgot a birthday.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, Watie and Lovie; sisters, Delores and Beverly; ex-husband, John; and sons, Terry and Johnny. She is survived by her ex-husband Bodo; sons, Michael and Larry; son-in-law, Mark; daughters, Angela and Laura; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private family gathering and service for Kathryn will be held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. In place of cards or flowers, please consider a small donation to Operation Kindness to honor her memory.
