Katherine Wright

August 12, 1980 — July 8, 2020

Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Katherine (Koddy) Elizabeth Wright left this world unexpectedly, at age 39, on July 8, 2020. Born in Houston, TX an hour and 5 minutes before her twin sister, Katherine grew up in the area and graduated from Klein Forest High School. While there, she passionately played the flute in the band. Her post-high school work in retail led to multiple manager positions. In recent years, she found her professional family in a law firm and was pursuing a degree in Accounting just like her father.

Katherine was a lover of all things fabric. She loved to sew and create alongside her mother and everyone who received her hand-made, complex gifts was truly fortunate. She was dedicated and meticulous - bent on perfection. While funny and spirited, she was introverted and introspective. We have lost our resident expert, strategist and assistant with video games and consoles.

Katherine was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. Her love for her nephews and nieces made her a second mother with never ending generosity of her devotion and time.

We will always remember her infectious smile, sarcastic wit and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. Katherine is survived by her mother, Dee and father, Donnie; her maternal grandmother, Mary; her sisters Allison and Amy; her sister Dee Anna and brother-in-law Sean; her brother David and sister-in-law Anastasia; her step-mother Jill and step-sisters Kirstyn and Regan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

When you think of Katherine, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
