Katherine Deeds-Schulman

Katherine (Katie) Raye Deeds-Schulman, age 16, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Houston on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Katie was born on February 21, 2003 in Killeen, Texas.
She enjoyed doing what most 16-year-old girls do, playing on her phone and computer and watching videos and movies.
Katie also enjoyed school. She loved seeing her teachers and friends at Westside High School each day. She was part of the Friends Club, the Westside High School Special Olympics Team, Ceramics, and an honorary member of the Pride Drill Team.
Most importantly, Katie had a deep love for her family, and she cherished the time they spent together. She liked to go out to eat BBQ, and ribs were her favorite food.
She is survived by her father, David Schulman, her mother, Amanda Deeds, her grandmother, Barbara Deeds, Glen Deeds and Debbie Deeds of Carthage, Texas, Ruby and Deloy Strawn _Decease, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life service for Katie will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 between 10:00am - 12 Noon at Integrity Funeral Care, Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Texas Children's Hospital, Houston, Texas.
