Joel Christian Huskey 1973-2019
Joel passed away Monday May 6, 2019 after a long battle with an illness. He was born to Harold and Janet (Davidson) Huskey Oct. 11, 1973 in Jacksonville, FL. He loved his family and had a special affection for his dog Smokey. He loved fishing and camping with his family, NASCAR and his Houston Astros.
He was preceded in death by his mother Janet, and Tonya Shibest, mother of two of his children. He is survived by wife Jaime Huskey, sons Michael Brooks, Christian Huskey, daughter Ashley Huskey and grandsons Ayden and Nikola, father Harold Huskey, sister Kim Murrow, stepbrothers Chad Whorton, Russell (Tammy) Warren and Randy Warren. He is also survived by dad Roger Whorton, stepmom Teresa Whorton, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Joel. His ashes will be interred in Yates Center, KS next to his mom, at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Houston Hospice for the kindness and comfort they gave to Joel.
