Jimmy Franklin Jones

February 12, 1951 — June 3, 2024

Jimmy Franklin Jones passed away at his home in Manvel, Texas after a long lung illness and service related injuries in the Army. Jimmy was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Savannah Christian School and joined the Army in 1971. He was Baptist. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Helen R. Jones, Mother, Oralee Jones, and Father, Harry Cope Jones. He is survived by his Sisters, Connie Barsh (Augusta, Ga), Bonnie Booth (William) (Rincon, GA), Harriet Strickland (Houston, TX). As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a dear to his heart, nephew, Jeremy Strickland. He will always be loved.
