Jerry Tejada, 62, passed away on May 3rd 2024 at his home in Houston, Texas. He was the husband of Robyn Spano. They shared 27 beautiful years of marriage together. Welcoming their daughter Alexis in March of 2001.
Born in Beaumont, Texas he was the son of Rudolph and Hope. He was the youngest of seven children. He was employed for over 20 years at Wilbert Vaults of Houston as the plant supervisor. He enjoyed his job and working with fellow co-workers and bosses who were like extended family to him.
Jerry enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, watching sports with friends and family, spending his free time with his 2 grandchildren. He enjoyed taking them on long walks, teaching them how to do yard work and watching tons of cartoons and movies with them. He also enjoyed his time as a season ticket holder for the Houston Texans and attending games with his wife Robyn. He loved spending time with his family it always brought him so much joy.
He will forever be remembered for his willingness to help others, his loud voice and laugh, his open acceptance of others and his loving and nurturing personality. He was the greatest husband, father and pawpaw. He was a father figure to so many and such a wonderful friend.
Jerry is survived by his wife Robyn Spano, child Alexis Tejada, grandchildren Adrienne Tejada-Rodas and Avianna Tejada-Rodas, his remaining siblings and their extended families. He was preceded in death by mother Hope Martinez Tejada, father Rudolph Tejada and brother Ronnie Tejada.
