Jacaub Mahshi

On September 27, 2019 ,Jacoub Mahshi passed away in his home around loved ones. He was born in Nazareth ,Israel on February 02, 1950. He was educated at the Greek Orthodox School where he also played soccer. Jacoub moved to Syracuse, NY. in 1972 where he later married Mimi (Mary Jean) Burke and had three daughters. The family moved to Houston , Tx. In 1991. Jacoub worked as a welder at Spx Corp. until he retired in 2012. His work was nothing less then artistry. In his past time, he enjoyed gardening and cooking. Jacoub is survived by his two daughters, Jaclyn Wilmot , Katrina Mahshi, his Son In-law David Wilmot, his grandchildren, Madeleine and Olivia Wilmot and his Siblings, Nabiah, Basharia, Najeeb and Kamel Mahshi , as well as many nieces and nephews . Jacoub was preceded in death by his daughter Lauren Mahshi siblings Nafia, Yousef and Samia Mahshi and parents Yusra and Sami Mahshi. Service will be held on October 9th 2019 at St. Anthony The Great Orthodox Church, located 7202 FM 2920 in Spring , Texas 77079. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the church.
