Gordon LaRue Taylor passed away November 2, 2020 in Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Frances Taylor.
Gordon was born August 13, 1938 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Garden Oaks and had many fond memories of playing in the woods.
As a young man, Gordon enlisted in the US Army and served in the chemical corps. He attended the University of Houston and chose architecture as his profession. Architecture indulged his creativity and curiosity for art, design nature..
Gordon is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Taylor, sons Nicholas Taylor, Houston; Noah Taylor and wife Stephanie of Houston. He loved his family with his whole heart.
A celebration of his life will occur at Chautauqua Dining Hall, Boulder Colorado later this summer.
