Gail Ruff Sermons

Gail Ruff Sermons , age 88, passed away peacefully in Katy, TX on February 20,2024.
She was born on September 9,1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Leslie and Myrtle Jones Ruff. Gail graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport,LA. She attended Centenary College and Louisiana Tech. While at Louisiana Tech, Gail met the love of her life, Lewis Sermons. They were married in 1956. They lived in many places such as New York, Ohio, Texas and Louisiana. They retired to the Hill Country of Texas in 1993. They spent 38 years together until his passing in July, 1994.

Gail loved her family deeply. She enjoyed painting, gardening, reading mystery novels, and crossword puzzles.
Gail is survived by her two daughters, one grandson, and son in law. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Gail is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters.
