Eloise Reese

In Memory of ELOISE HARRIS REESE November 15, 1926 - March 26, 2018 Eloise was born in Dierks, Arkansas, one of five children born to Faunt James Harris and Frankie Ellen Cook Harris. She graduated from Dierks High School, class of 1946. After her family moved to the Dallas area, she worked for the Army Corp of Engineers, and Hughes Tool Company. After moving later to Houston, she was employed by Baylor College of Medicine, and Chevron Oil Company, where she retired in 1984. She married in 1954 to Glenn Reese, who served 31 years as a Houston Police Officer, and then as Chief of Police at Hedwig Village Police Department until his death. Eloise was a lifelong Christian, and was always ready to share her strong faith with others. She is survived by her son Greg Reese, daughter-in-law Carol Reese, and grandson Cody Reese, all of Houston. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Gloria Miers of Dallas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Gayle Reese, husband Glenn Reese, parents F.J. Harris and Frankie Harris, brother Dearl Harris, and sisters Joyce Perkins, Wanda Hill, and Lorine Cook. A private memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 12:00 PM. The location is Integrity Funeral Home, 3915 Dacoma, Suite E, Houston, Texas 77092.
