Eleni V. Perezous, age 86, left this life on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Houston, TX after a courageous battle with rapidly progressing dementia. She was a loving wife, mother, yiayia and sister and lived her life for her family.

Eleni was born on May 17, 1939 in Kos, Greece. She was the eldest of eight children born to parents Nikolaos and Dionisia. She was married to her husband, Vasilios Perezous, for 52 years before his passing in 2009.

She loved to host and cook for people at her home and will always be remembered for the great, abundant Greek cooking that she shared with anyone that visited her house. She was a tireless worker that did everything to help provide for her family. She especially loved and was very proud of all her seven grandchildren.

Eleni is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Katerina, brothers Mihalis, Manolis, Stavros and sister Rodia. She is survived by her brothers Yiannis and Andreas and her sister Vasiliki, her son George and his son Vassilis and daughter Anna, son Nick and his son Christopher, daughter Dionisia (Soula) and her husband Michael Koumbias and daughters Maria and Elena and youngest son Demitri (Jimmy) and his wife Elsa and their daughters Eleni and Vasiliki.
