Dudley Briggs

Chris Briggs, 62, of Houston, Texas passed away October 12, 2018. Born July 31, 1956 in Carthage, Texas. He was a very happy person and loved by so many. Always had a beautiful smile on his face. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Briggs and his brother, Don Briggs. He is survived by his loving companion, Geri, who helped him fight the pain he suffered so long; his Mother, Maurine Briggs, and his brothers, Ricky Briggs, and Leo and wife, Beth Briggs; niece, Megan, and nephews, Ryan, Tyler and Garrett. Also, belovedl grandchildren, Alivia and Cora who were very special in his life. Chris greatly loved all children and generously supported St. Jude's Hospital. The family will receive loved ones and friends for a time of visitation, on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Northside Christian Church, Carthage, Texas at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please contribute to St. Jude's Hospital.
