Diane White

Diane Susan White, 79, passed away at her home in Spring, Texas, on August 20, 2026, after a long-term illness.

Diane was born on June 29, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Salvator Russel Albenzio and Rose LoSecco Albenzio. She met and married John “Jack” White in 1970. Together, they built their life and raised their family in Buffalo before moving to Houston in 1985.

Diane enjoyed a long career in banking and retired from JPMorgan. After retirement, she remained actively involved in her community, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through charitable fundraising with her sorority. At the time of her passing, she was also serving as an elected member of the Cypress Klein Utility District Board of Directors.

Diane was a devoted and supportive wife who loved the life she and Jack built together and was deeply proud of the husband and father he was. As a mother, she was simply perfect—you could not have asked for a better one. Diane’s children meant everything to her. She was tremendously proud of Heather and Jonathan and gave them a lifetime of love, guidance, encouragement, strength, and support. Through every stage of their lives, they could always count on her. She also shared a special bond with her beloved Welsh Corgi, Madison, whom she affectionately called “Shuga.” Madison held a very special place in her heart. Diane’s family was one of the greatest sources of pride and joy in her life. For her, it was never so much about what they were doing as it was about being together.

Diane loved tennis and played to win. She also loved to dance, travel, spend time at the beach, enjoy a “good” Chinese restaurant, and spend time with the friends she cherished. Her friendships were deeply important to her, and she treasured the many friends she made throughout her life. Strong, funny, generous, and straightforward, Diane was never one to sugarcoat things—you always knew where she stood. Above all, she was a giving and genuine woman who loved and cared wholeheartedly for the people in her life.

Diane is survived by her husband, John “Jack” White, and her children, Heather White Britten and Jonathan White.

She was our everything, and she always will be.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Diane’s life will be held on September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola. A reception will follow the Funeral Mass in the Christus Center at St. Ignatius of Loyola.
