Diane White

Diane Susan White, 79, passed away at her home in Spring, Texas, on August 20, 2026, after a long-term illness.

Diane was born on June 29, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Salvator Russel Albenzio and Rose LoSecco Albenzio. She met and married John “Jack” White in 1970. Together, they built their life and raised their family in Buffalo before moving to Houston in 1985. Diane enjoyed a long career in banking and retired from JPMorgan. After retirement, she remained active in her community, including through a sorority whose charitable efforts supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. At the time of her passing, she was also serving as an elected member of the Cypress Klein Utility Board of Directors.

Diane was a devoted and supportive wife who loved the life she and Jack built together and was deeply proud of the husband and father he was. As a mother, Diane was simply the best. She gave her children everything—her time, strength, guidance, attention, and love—and was immensely proud of both of them. Heather and Jonathan always knew they could count on her, whether they needed advice, encouragement, honesty, or simply their Mom. Her family was one of the greatest sources of pride and joy in her life, and for Diane, it was never so much about what they were doing as it was about being together.

Diane loved tennis and played to win. She also loved to dance, travel, spend time at the beach, enjoy a “good” Chinese restaurant, and spend time with the friends she cherished. Her friendships were deeply important to her, and she cherished the many friends she made throughout her life. Her beloved corgi, Madison, whom she affectionately called “Shuga,” held a special place in her heart. Strong, funny, generous, and straightforward, Diane was never one to sugarcoat things—you always knew where she stood. Above all, she was deeply devoted to the people she loved.

Diane is survived by her husband, John “Jack” White, and her children, Heather White Britten and Jonathan White.

She was our everything, and she always will be.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Diane’s life will be held on September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola. A reception will follow the Funeral Mass in the Christus Center at St. Ignatius of Loyola.
