Pasadena, Texas

With heavy hearts and deep love, we share that Debbie Lee Rivera passed away on July 20, 2025, in Webster, Texas, at the age of 68.

Debbie was born in Houston, Texas, and made her home in Pasadena, Texas, where she raised her family and built a life rooted in love, laughter, and togetherness.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Rivera and the daughter of Donna Warchesik and Karl Kieselhorst, all of whom she is now reunited with alongside her son-in-law David Sease and siblings Howard Kieselhorst, Sandra Horton, Earl Kieselhorst, Jay Warchesik, and Jerry Warchesik.

She is survived by her children Crystal Sease, Karl Kieselhorst and wife Misty, Robin Davis and husband Tim Gailey, and Rena Goudeau and husband Kelly; her brother Mark Kieselhorst and wife Brenda; her grandchildren Chelsey Soto and husband Jorge, Ben Thielen, Arick Rudy and wife Megan, Cameron Davis and wife Evangelina, Randy Gailey, Logan Kieselhorst, Nate Golden, Aidan Sease, and Jace Gailey; and her great-grandchildren Amelia Soto, Bowan Rudy, Jonathan Davis, Sutton Rudy, and Sera Soto.

After retiring from Montgomery Ward, Debbie spent her days surrounded by the things she loved most, her family, her crafts, and her dogs. She was a loving mother and grandmother who showed up for her people no matter what. If you needed comfort, she was a safe place in a loud world, and always just a phone call away. She was the kind of woman who made holidays feel magical and ordinary days feel special.

Please join us in celebrating the life of our loving mother, grandmother, and friend. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, followed by a reception until 5:00 p.m. at Community Transformation Church in Pasadena, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Amputee Coalition or the American Diabetes Association’s Amputation Prevention Alliance both working to support those living with limb loss from diabetes and to prevent others from facing it.

“I love you more.”
