David Valvano

David Alan Valvano went to our Lord on April 27, 2020. David was born January 23, 1947 in Newark, New Jersey to Jules and Gilda Valvano. David is survived by his wife Ruthellen Valvano, son David Alan Valvano II, daughter Krystal Ann Valvano, grandson Giulio Liam Valvano-Smith, brother Richard Valvano and his wife Virginia Valvano, sister Elaine Abbate and husband Anthony Abbate, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Among his many accomplishments, he graduated from Seton Hall Law School, New Jersey with a Juris Doctor Degree. He taught social studies at Sam Houston High School, Houston, Texas. His interest in politics led him to serve as Councilman in Carteret, New Jersey. Because of his love of people, his greatest assets were his communication and social skills.
Also. he loved sports and was a life-long Yankee fan. His favorite pastime was listening to a variety of music and dancing. His passion for music and dance gave him the motivation to win several dance contests.
