Dale "DL" Lancaster - January 9, 1941 - June 21, 2026 

Dale Lancaster of Angleton, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Houston. 

Dale was born in Freestone County, Texas to Eula Pearl and Lowry Lancaster. He graduated from Teague High School in 1959 before enlisting in the US Army in 1966. He served in the Army Medical Corp from 1966-1969 in Southeast Asia. Dale earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas in Arlington, and a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Houston Clear Lake.  

He spent most of his life working in the funeral and financial services industries.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Lancaster (Michelle) of Amarillo, Kaysie Stewart (Clayton) of Angleton, and Kody Lancaster (Samantha) of Angleton; grandchildren Alex Lancaster (Brooke) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bradley Lancaster of Amarillo, Kimber Stewart, Tealle Stewart, and Klarie Lancaster all of Angleton. 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of the DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston for taking care of him in final days. 

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Maurice Lancaster. 

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services are scheduled. Interment will be in the Houston National Cemetery.
