Catherine Eileen Biehler, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Born on May 20, 1952, Catherine grew up in Florissant, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, where she met her beloved husband of 37 years, Jan Biehler.
Catherine proudly served in the United States Army, retiring in 1977. Throughout her life, she enjoyed writing music, playing golf, talking with friends and family, and traveling with her husband. She treasured the relationships she built and the memories made along the way.
Above all, Catherine loved Jesus. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she had a heart for praying for others. She never hesitated to share her faith with those she encountered, always hoping they, too, would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Despite facing numerous difficult health battles over the last 25 years, Catherine remained steadfast in her faith. Through every trial, she continued to trust in the Lord, demonstrating perseverance, courage, and unwavering hope. She fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Her earthly struggles have ended, and she has entered into the promise of eternity with her Savior.
Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Dettmann, her granddaughter, Melody Castillo, and her siblings, Frank, Phil, Sam, and Mary.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jan Biehler; her daughter, Helen Hairston, and son-in-law, Mark Hairston; and her beloved granddaughter, Lyric Hollar-Harris, and her husband, Tyler Harris.
Catherine’s legacy of faith, perseverance, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family will carry her memory forward with enduring love and gratitude.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
