Loving wife of 74 years, mother, sister and grandma was peacefully received by our Heavenly Father on February 8, 2023.
Amelia was born in Elgin, TX on February 13, 1935 to Josefa and Facundo Saenz.
Amelia is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, and her loving daughters Mary Alice Cruz, Patricia Hawkins, grandson Ruben Navarro, and daughter-in-law Nancy Munguia.
She is survived by husband Ernest Munguia, Sr.; children Ernest Munguia, Jr., Joel (Anna) Munguia, Minerva (Clete) Salewsky, sons-in-law Ralph Hawkins and Roger Cruz, 5 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive family and friends at Integrity Funeral care on February 16, 2023, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
Reception at Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel at 3:00 PM; Houston TX.
