Elena Garcia Villegas

Elena Garcia Villegas was born on December 21, 1941; in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, as one of seven siblings.  She went to meet her maker surrounded by her loved ones after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was preceded by her husband of 42 years, Heriberto, and her daughter Mary.  She leaves behind two daughters and four sons, along with their spouses, Laura and Javier, Sergio and Lilia, Hector and Mercedes, Jose and Blanca, Ileana, and Julio and Sonia; as well as seven grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren, with one more soon to be born.

She showed her love by cooking delicious food for family and friends.  She demonstrated her work ethic by working a fulltime job and raising her family.  She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.  May God keep her in His loving arms.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, located at 4213 Mangum Rd., Houston, TX 77096;  Phone: 713.686.3497.

Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, also at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, at 11:00 a.m.
