I was stunned to read in the paper about Mike's passing. I left home about 10 minutes after I graduated high school, and have basically kept up with none of my classmates. I have covered most of the states, from Arizona to Florida to Oklahoma, to Main and down to Georgia and all points between. My job has taken me from Houston to Austin, to Charlotte, NC, Shelby, NC, to Pineville, NC, to and I knew Mike briefly when I attended Goddard High School 4 years only knew mike through common friends. Mike was a rebel, but was so well liked he could get away with it. It is too bad that we lived in the same town and did not know it. Does anyone know what work Mike did?
